Όλος ο πλανήτης ετοιμάζεται να υποδεχθεί το 2023 και λίγο μετά τις 16:00 (ώρα Ελλάδας) η Νέα Ζηλανδία και η Αυστραλία ήδη γιορτάζουν την Πρωτοχρονιά. Το 2022 ήταν μια επεισοδιακή χρονιά με γεγονότα ιστορικής σημασίας και ο φωτογραφικός φακός του Reuters τα «έπιασε» και τα παρουσιάζει λίγο πριν την έλευση του νέου χρόνου.
Οι φωτογράφοι του Reuters βρέθηκαν μπροστά σε όλα τα σημαντικά γεγονότα του 2022, από τη φρίκη του πολέμου στην Ουκρανία και άλλων ενόπλων συγκρούσεων μέχρι πρωτοφανείς φυσικές καταστροφές και από τη φυγή προσφύγων και μεταναστών έως τις διαδηλώσεις σε όλο τον κόσμο, όπως και ο θάνατος της βασίλισσας Ελισάβετ.
